📍 Brussels🕐 6 months · possibility of extension📄 CIP contract 🔄 Rolling applications

At The Good Lobby, we believe civil society deserves a seat at the table and that effective communication is what gets them there. We’re looking for a Communication Intern who can bridge the worlds of EU policy and compelling storytelling.

This is a hybrid role: roughly 70% communication work (social media, newsletters, web content, media engagement) and 30% policy and project support. You’ll work directly with our Communication & Policy Manager and get hands-on experience at the intersection of advocacy, research and strategic communication.

This position is offered as a CIP (Convention d’Immersion Professionnelle), a 6-month professional immersion contract under Belgian law, with a real possibility of extension or transition into a more permanent role. It’s an ideal entry point for early-career professionals looking to build experience in civil society and EU affairs.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have a solid grounding in EU policy, are comfortable with tools like WordPress, Canva and social media platforms, and can turn complex policy debates into content that actually resonates.

The Good Lobby is a diverse and inclusive workplace. We actively welcome applications from people of colour, women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and persons with disabilities.

Deadline: 31 May – but don’t wait.
We review applications on a rolling basis and interview as we go. The sooner you apply, the better your chances.
