Across Europe, wealth is increasingly concentrated in the hands of a few, while many face rising costs, strained public services, and fewer opportunities. This growing divide is not just unfair – it undermines democracy itself.
That is why we proudly support the Wealth Cap Project and its Wealth Cap Declaration, calling for a European cap on extreme wealth.
A wealth cap would set a limit on how much wealth one person can accumulate, helping to redistribute resources, strengthen public services, and support a just green transition. It is a bold but necessary step toward a more democratic and sustainable economy.
